so yeah basically... what is it about darondo? why/how so good? so special? why/how did Didn't I make me cry this morning? i think it might be because of that honesty thing. just honesty. it's really important in life, i've realized, more and more. especially if you're trying to feel good, find joy, have peace. Ha ha.
but i mean honesty of spirit. not just of word. of doing. of being. (it sometimes takes a lot of courage!) maybe because music is so important and the ruse is so easily heard in it that it's especially salient there. im currently working on a record for another class. and so it's been a lot of that: being really. really honest. so that's what i was thinking about here. looking back on every century thus far and being honest. spur-of-the-moment. i don't know. i sound dumb.
